Text, files, and other content entered into the tools are processed locally in the browser and are not uploaded to a LocalTools server.
The browser stores functional preferences in localStorage, including language, theme, selected tool, and recent or saved colors. This information stays on the device and is not used for analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling.
Subscription is optional and uses double opt-in. A request processes the email address, locale, form source, consent date and version, IP address, user-agent, subscription status, timestamps, and hashes of verification and unsubscribe tokens.
These data are used to send confirmation, communicate relevant LocalTools updates, demonstrate consent, secure the service, and process unsubscribe requests.
Update emails rely on explicit consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing performed before withdrawal.
Data strictly required for security, abuse prevention, consent evidence, or legal obligations may be processed under legitimate interests or legal compliance, as applicable.
The website is hosted by Vercel. Subscriptions are handled through the codebyfran.es bridge, Supabase database infrastructure, and the configured email transport provider. These providers process only the data needed to provide their services.
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. External links are governed by their own policies.
Active subscription data are retained while the subscription remains active. Pending and unsubscribed records and related evidence are kept only as long as needed to confirm requests, honour opt-outs, handle claims, and meet obligations; they are then deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
LocalTools does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies and currently installs no non-essential cookies.
The functional local storage described here is used only to remember interface choices or data the user chooses to save. No consent banner is therefore displayed. This decision will be reviewed before adding analytics, advertising, tracking embeds, or storage for unrelated purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including single-purpose tokens stored as hashes, input validation, and request limits. No Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy for technical or legal reasons. The current version is always published with its update date.
